Public statements
Actuaries provide insights and expertise to policymakers, government agencies and regulatory bodies, contributing to the development of public policy in areas such as social security, health care financing and environmental risk management. These public statements articulate the views of the Institute and its members, providing analysis and recommendations to help inform policy decisions that protect the public interest and promote societal well-being.
